I have been away from the shop this last week, but I found a cute shop in St George to keep me company. My camera run down so I wasn't able to get many pictures, but I did see something that I snapped up. In our shop at Aunt Elsie's we have allot of old silver. I have been wanting to join Silver Sunday that is being hosted by Gypsy Fish Journal the second Sunday of each month.
We'll begin with this snapshot of an old silver tea service. Boy does it need some polishing. I don't now anything about it, how old it is, where it came from, who it served. I would really like to know that! I have a friend who has allot of her mother's and grandmother's silver. She keeps it's shined up so pretty. We use to pull it out and use it to serve at our Stake Relief Society leadership meetings. I use to call her the queen of fruit, boy could she make a fruit presentation.
I'll try and find out some history next time. Thanks to all of you for letting us see your pretty's.
Happy Silver Sunday...love your tea tray as is, it's beautiful!
